Chamrousse - 1730 metres


The climb of Chamrousse was used in the mountain time-trial in the 2001 Tour de France. Lance Armstrong won the stage on July 18th 2001 when he took just over an hour to climb from Grenoble to the ski resort. His split time from the golf course roundabout to the ski resort was 49 minutes, with the slowest rider making the ascent in one hour five minutes.
